Kayla Elder, Editor-in-Chief
Hello lovely ladies! I look forward to getting to know you. I am an Atlanta, Georgia native who graduated from Lee University in Tennessee with a degree in Communications with an emphasis in journalism and a minor in Bible Studies. I met my husband along the way through my sister and his best friend, whom are now married, and we tied the knot in 2015. After years of being a professional journalist, prayerfully searching for something more, God placed this magnificent community of women into my life. When I am not editing and writing articles or planning content, you can find me in the kitchen, at the theatre, outdoors, in hidden gems around new cities or traveling. I am passionate about helping women know and pursue the fullness of who God has called them to be. I dreamed of being the editor-in-chief of a magazine and that dream became a goal and strong calling in college. I have seen firsthand that God fulfills the desires of your heart when it is aligned with His beautiful plan. I feel beyond blessed to call this community family and am elated to be on this journey with She Leads Daily.
